We wanted to thank you for your time, patience, and excellent teaching over the years and we will come and find you again, whenever our priorities can change again and we can take Arabic back up. We miss it! We miss you! We miss the classes! We speak so fondly of them to our close ones... We wish you all the best, good luck with your students and we hope to reach out to you soon to organise some classes again.

Bernard must be extremely passionate about his teaching which makes the classes not only beneficial for his students but highly entertaining.
His feedback is timely, honest and relevant. Very happy with his teaching . I would give him 5++ for being a superstar of a teacher.

I’ve found the book “ARABIC EXPRESS” to contain a tremendously practical and easy to use Arabic language method.  Over the last couple of years of learning through it, I’ve felt a gradual build up in my confidence and ability to converse with people and to even fill in forms and keep a journal. I’m also excited that I’m managing to make out the main ideas in newspaper articles. What I’ve appreciated most about it is the light and fun way in which the language is presented. This, I think, has made it so much easier for me to learn and retain. With the indexes and smooth navigability to a comprehensive coverage of spoken and written Arabic, it has given me firm foundations to stand on and a precious reference source hereafter. I’m so grateful!

After learning the basics of Modern Standard Arabic elsewhere previously, Arabic Express opened me up to understand and speak the Levantine Arabic dialect. I've found that learning standard and spoken Arabic at the same time, as presented in this book, allowed me to learn more efficiently with the leverage of comparison. And the phonetic use of the Roman script is particularly helpful, making it that much clearer and easier for me to get my pronunciation right.
